As a result your car s computer which is responsible for reporting error codes is also receiving low voltage.

If you re having to boost your car after it s been parked overnight but not again while you use it for the day your battery probably isn t the problem. An error code will be generated which will in turn trigger the check engine light or even the battery charge warning light to display. If the battery is low you will see a weak door light but if the battery is dead the door lights will not come on. If the battery is totally dead you won t hear a chime or see the dome light at all.

Visit your local autozone store for a free diagnosis. No dome light when opening the door or no door chime with keys inserted. So what should you do. Now we re not talking about that dead battery that you get when the dome light was left on or the car hasn t been driven in a month.
